Explore Our Commitment to Native Plant Conservation

Native plants are adapted to New Jersey’s soils, seasons, rainfall, wildlife, and coastal conditions. By planting natives, gardeners can create beautiful landscapes that also support pollinators, birds, beneficial insects, and healthier local ecosystems.
This online plant sale makes it easier to choose and purchase native plants before the event, then pick them up locally on the scheduled pickup day. The plants are supplied by the Ocean County Master Gardeners from their native plant nursery, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Jersey Shore Chapter of the New Jersey Native Plant Society.
This sale is more than a fundraiser. It is a local collaboration designed to help more people grow with purpose, learn from experienced gardeners, and connect with organizations that are strengthening native plant education across our region.
The native plants I purchased have transformed my garden into a vibrant haven for local wildlife—truly outstanding quality and service.
